You need to do some more looking into that, Google Bakersfield Calf. 1910 oil spill. A lot worse, but on land. Interesting containment methods as well. Don't get me wrong, BP sucks ass on this one, but it is not the worst, not yet anyway.

What sucks ass... Is the rest of the oil community are standing by and taking odds as opposed to coming together to solve and learn for their own future endeavors.
