Sadly when I did the oil change the left filler bolt had been misthreaded last time (by me it seem)  . Can you replace the cap with the big hex head easily. When you unscrew it is there a springload on it?? 
I got it back for the present with an extra washer and lots of PTFE tape.
Next time my not be so good.
Oil really black !!!!!!!
Last time I took off tubes and washed them out.
Too tired this time. |

You don't have to cross thread it to strip it. I threaded mine in by hand and then tightened it and the soft aluminum stripped. I also had to add another washer and now I am very careful how tight it is.

It's easy replace, nothing will fly out at you.
