Anybody know where I can find a left fairing pocket cover for my 94 LT ? I had the pleasure of feeling my cover bounce off my leg and then watch it get smashed behind me. I should have checked that it was secure ... my bad. Embarassed

Might be worth putting a little wire leash like one does for the mirrors.

seems like a guy ought to be able to secure loose parts before starting off, but if I can't ... that's a good idea.

That exact same thing happened to me a few years ago, while going through Charleston WV. I looked all over for used, no luck, I had to by a new replacement. The lock is a separate part. Some day I will get it rekeyed to match.

I now have leashes on both covers.

I have one but I do not have a key to the lock that is on it. I will need to go in the garage to pull it out to check on its condition. If interested give me a day to find it.

EP, I supose the questions is: do you have a radio in the left pocket?
I guessing that since you said "pocket cover" instead of "radio cover" you are looking for the flat cover instead of the humped one?

If RJ can't find his, some breakers sell them, check e-bay as well.

If you consider new, yes the lock is seperate as well as the gasket is a seperate item also. DAMHIK

Mine did the same, I almost got to it when it was run over and split in two by a cage. I repaired it so you can't even tell it was broken.

Scott - I originally had a radio in there so it was a humped cover, but I guess it really doesn't matter ... either one would work. I'll contact some breakers if RJTrucker is unsuccessful in his quest. What does "DMAHIK" mean?

RJTrucker - thanks for looking I sent a PM to you, let me know what you find.

Thanks everyone !

Fast & fat fingers with lack of spell check create these careless issues ... duly chastised and will endeavor to be more careful ... tough crowd. Spelling problems, parts flying off bike, what next ???
