I'm proud to say that since right after HL1, I've lost just under 30 pounds and plan to lose another maybe 10. This is great news for me and I feel ten years younger.
The down side for me is my cold weather riding jacket which I bought intentionally large to accommodate layers now feels like a tent. Maybe you have something you'd like to trade? My jacket is a blue XXL Tourmaster Jet with removable liner. It was roomy when I was 6'0 and 215. I probably will still need an XL at 175 or 180 because of my frame.
I realize having something that's too small for you means you've been going the other way so don't give up. If I can lose it, you can too. _________________ Jim

Nice - my stich shrank over the last few months, I figure salads instead of cheeseburgers might loosen it up a little _________________

NUTS.
My legs are still too long and always hit the trailing edge of the RS fairing. Don't think they are gonna' shrink.
Think of the performance increase your LT will experience with 30 less lbs.
I am really thinking of a performance increase too- but onboard weight would stay the same while HP would have a slight boost.......
I am tired of 17 y.o. bike maintenance.... _________________ John & Cathy

I sometimes like the feeling of locking my knees in against the fairing. I sort of wish there was a pad there. _________________ Jim

Well, John, you could have waited a bit and announced a "Tech Day" for K1100 bikes. This time of year it's difficult to ride to your place to attend a tech day.
As far as the new bike goes, where you are it would be fine. Where I am, it would not work. The closest dealer to me is in Albuquerque, NM, over 250 miles away, and I would not want to have to take it that far for any service I couldn't do myself. _________________ Ride Safe,
