I am not sure if there is any intrest in changing the HMSP location. A friend of mine who is an avid rider that introduced me to HMSP, suggested this spot was even nicer http://parks.ky.gov/findparks/resortparks/cc/
The park is in KY, about 200 miles North of HMSP. They have rustic cabins, a lodge/motel kind of style and camping available. I have only glanced over the site. I thought I would look more into it, if there was intrest in moving the location? In years past some people have thought of moving the spot elsewhere. Any thoughts?

Which park exactly? The link goes to the Ky. Parks main site, and there are a bunch there!
Either way, I would be OK with a change as long as the roads are comparable as it's around the same price. |

Well, I looked at it a little bit and WOW.
It's really nice, but I'm not sure that it's worth the extra $ just for a bed and a kitchen to cook in.
Unless I missed something the rates are over 2x what HMSP rates are.
I'm not exactly one for primitive camping either, sorry.
I'm one vote to stay at HMSP. _________________ Ride safe.

I'd be OK with a change of location if there is something comparable out there - probably wouldn't want to double the price, though...
I'm not up for primitive camping, either. _________________ Jim

Hi, Jim,
While we waited for the U-haul truck, the lady who lived 200yd. down the road stopped (a couple of times) and mentioned she has a B&B near where the group stopped. I have the brochure she gave me. If you'll send me your snail mail, I'll send it to you. However, if the number of people who have shown an interest do show up, we'll need 2 cabins and her one cabin which would sleep 8 (I believe) wouldn't do. _________________ Ride Safe,

Hi Phil - thank you. I believe we will have more than 8 riders this time. I don't know how the rates would be at a B&B - they're probably higher than the park. I don't know if the B&B has a kitchen...
Is there a website listed on the brochure? _________________ Jim
