Phil,
Careful on your long trip. Get yourself and that new Honda to HM in one piece.
Ernie,
Good to hear you are back together and on the road.
The Kiwis are getting a little more sleep here- while I write this. They seem to be over their jet lag.
See everybody soon. SAFE TRAVELS ALL.

Bike checked out, loaded and waiting on Chris.
Based on when he left, we should be leaving Culpeper around 1115.

peter and I are back in evansville. Nothing exciting happened except for a couple really juicy bugs on the face shield.
it was great to meet everyone! We both had a blast! I wish we could have stayed longer, but you can't always have everything I guess. Hope today was just as fun for those still there! _________________ (formerly) 1993 k1100rs |

Glad you made it back Supercat, I just got in about 2:30 today (Sunday)
The bike ran great all the way up and back. Fun rides, good food and great people, can't wait for HMIV! I think we had at least 20+ K bikes there.
I'll post pics later, maybe someone will start a photo thread. _________________ Steve

peter and i are now back home in kansas. the bikes also ran quite well the whole time. i know peter would have traded his k11 for one of his gsx-r's while on the mountain roads, but otherwise i know he had a really good time.
glad to hear everyone else is making it back safe too! i will post up the few pictures i took later. i have never been a good photojournalist. :-\ _________________ (formerly) 1993 k1100rs |

Hi, Gwen,
I had a GREAT time. I hope I can make HMIV next year. I'm glad no one got sick from the food! I enjoyed doing the spaghetti as well as the Irish coffee. I'm at my friend's in Cosby, TN. Tomorrow night I plan to be with my daughter in Ft. Worth and Tuesday night at home in El Paso. _________________ Ride Safe,

Made it back about 2:00. Had a great time. The food was great, thanks Chris and Phil and the rides were good too despite some rain. It was great to see everyone again and meeting the new faces. Here are some things to remember form HMIII.

Made it back a little bit ago. Thank you to everyone who made the effort to show up and make it a great weekend. It was great to have Ted there on his K!
As always the weather was a little iffy, but that didn't deter people from getting out on some great back roads (and off roads) and having a good time.
950 total miles for the trip. The K turned 70,000 riding around down there.
It was good to see old friends and meet new ones.
The food was great - thank you to Phil and Chris!
Ran through a few heavy showers on the way back, but unlike the RS riders, who were a little "soggy", I just covered the radio and tankbag and kept going. _________________ Jim

Back home, a little soggy and worn out. Thanks for being so kind to my menu. At least I didn't have to tote home any chili.
I really enjoyed spending my birthday meeting all you fine people, hearing and telling stories, and and enjoying the ride together. The most epic moment of all, of course, came when Paul pulled a bolt from his kit to replace a caliper bolt I lost sometime over the weekend. Serindipity at its finest. _________________ www.tidewaterforge.com |

Good to hear folks are arriving (or had arrived) home safe.
Just got in- 890 miles in 14.5 hours. This was my first trip with the Zumo. LOVE that thing (Thanks Cathy). I have to say that I-81 is really spooky in the 4:30 am dark with lots of fog. Most of the trucks were good to me but even at that time Virginia was crawling with troopers.
Will post pictures tomorrow- including the bike line up at breakfast.
BIG thanks Jim, Gwen, Christopher and Phil for the efforts. Thanks to everyone for a great HM. Oh yeah- thanks Sean for showing us those roads then even waiting for Darryl and me.
I'm tired........ _________________ John & Cathy

Hey Y'all,
Safely around the corner from HM in Glade Spring, VA. The journey continues.
Had an awesome time... not only did I meet a bunch of great people, but my mind's cluttered with innovative ideas for the bike, too. In short, we're both happy .
Thanks for the memories! (and the food)
