|
|
Hi guys,
Just completed my first spline lube, everything working great.
Had a weird realization today. My steering lock is on the wrong side, it locks the bars to the opposite side of the sidestand. Making it pointed in the wrong direction when parked. Is this supposed to be this way? Its quite odd. _________________ 1992 K75S

They lock when turned to the right. That's normal. _________________ Ride safe.

Yes, lock to the right. I don't think there is a right or wrong side for the wheel to point to when parked. _________________ Steve

It just strikes me as counter-intuitive. Wouldnt you want the weight balanced on one side? I'm no physicist but.. _________________ 1992 K75S

It is counter intuitive - just throw it in that category of whatever that the turn signal cancel is in... _________________ Jim
