Yesterday I went to turn the radio on having not used it for a month or so & nothing happened, the LCD display remains blank when you turn the knob to the on position and there is no sound from the speakers. When I press the on/off button down it does not switch on the handlebar control either. The the small red LED light in the centre of the No 5/6 buton is still flashing so the unit must still be drawing power?!

I am yet to take the unit out and investigate further investigation.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards

Rich

The radio antitheft kicks in anytime there is a power disruption to the unit.

You know, just in case someone is trying to steal your cassette player. Laughing

Entering your radio code should work.

Writing the code with indelible marker on the side of the radio is a good idea, as is putting the code in your cell phone under "radio".

The radio has two power supplies. I'd make sure both of them are hot before I called the radio bad. I'd also just remove the radio from the slide in rack and reinstall it.
