Wow.

That was sublime. As good as it gets without actually being there.

And keep them coming - frying Duck's router is within reach...

Can't wait for HD III. (Too long to wait, that is.) I'm leaving in 42 hours.

SD -> WY -> MT -> ID -> WA -> LED upgrade -> OR -> WA -> MT -> ND -> SD.

Road and food photos in a couple weeks...

Hey, if anyone has the time, join me in riding to Hungry Lobsta. I'm leaving El Paso on 9/19 to visit my daughter in Dallas, then leaving Dallas by 9/25 to visit a friend in Cosby, TN, then leaving Cosby on (probably) 9/30 in order to arrive in Sugar Hill, NH on 10/1. I have to have time to get the spaghetti fixin's so we can have spaghetti on either 10/2 or 10/3, the night we don't have LOBSTA.

I haven't derermined my route home, but it will probably include stops in Troy and Schenectady, NY; Raleigh, NC; Macon, GA; and again, Dallas, before returning to El Paso.

In case you are wondering where I get the time, I was laid off on March 15. Monday (8/31) I signed up to start drawing Social Security, so I am now officially retarded, er, retired.

OK, here's two words:

CAMPGROUND FULL.

We had hoped to stay at Farragut State Park on Saturday night, but waited too long (should have expected this on a holiday weekend). Everything reservable was taken at all of the National Park campgrounds as well. So we widened our seach until we found a site at Dworshak. We leave Sunday AM for Seattle, so we won't pass very close to Twin Lakes.

We are planning to return east on WA Hwy 20 and will probably pass through Sandpoint and on to Glacier NP on Friday the 11th. Feel free to join us and share some miles if you're available...

Great pics Jo, we're battling through the rain and cold here, not to mention some fairly hefty winds - but that's just me

Now I am pissed. The turn to Farragut is about 14 miles from Twin Lakes. We have a lake here, place to camp, or maybe even actually put a roof over your head. And no park fees.
Wife was actually on Pend Oreille last weekend with girlfriends.
