I'm a maybe on attending. If my contract isn't extended, I'll be unemployed and itching to ride. In which case, I'm soooooo there!

But if it is extended, then I'll take the extra work because I need the money. In which case, I won't be there. Sad

I should know sometime in June.

Please follow the instructions and sign up with a 60% probability. That way you'll get some priority in lodging if you do make it. Especially since you took me on your local goat trails that day.

Though my cabin ain't the Ritz if you stay there you can drink and not have to walk/hitchhike back to the campground. I'm not a frickin' booze Nazi but there's no way I'm going to let people get DRUNK at my place and then ride. A couple of beers, fine. Visibly drunk, nope.

Aw, chit. Now we're scrued. Johnny signed up. Micki's OK(fer a gurl) but Johnny can tell more lies/minute than Obama - and Johnny doesn't even use a teleprompter. It's like he's got a little Rahm Emanuel sitting on his shoulder telling him what to say. It's some skeery chit.

I"m having second thoughts now, maybe I'll call it all off. (Or at least tell Johnny I did.)

And if you're far away and too lazy to ride this far you can always fly to Spokane and rent a K1100LT from this guy whi is sort of a friend of mine:
http://www.classicmotorcyclerides.com/

Tell him I referred you and you're coming to visit me and who knows he might give you a discount.

Good news! Very Happy

I just got an email from the state and the Fort Flagler State Park will be open. Even if nobody from our group camps there it's still good news because it has some great views and history associated with it.

It's OK. I'm riding. I've got earplugs with me. You dudes can have a thingle bed if you want. Just don't scream too loud. Laughing

Good news! My 3.5hp outboard for my john boat has been needing a carb rebuild for the last year or so. I would've done it already but couldn't figure out how to get to the damned carb.

Been keeping an eye out on Craig's List for the past couple of months for a deal on another outboard. Picked up a nice little 4hp outboard for $100 today. Probably about what a carb rebuild kit would've cost.

#1 is out. Slowest and you'd need to make a reservation on the Keystone ferry and have your timing down.

#2 is most likely your best bet. I'd get as early a start as possible though. Hwy 2 is two lanes and might be a bit slow if you hit it's "rush hour." If there's a big line before the ferry booth just ride past the cars.

#4 Rent a helicopter and chopper in the motoheap
