I've managed to bugger up one of the pivot bearings that pins the rear end to the swing arm housing. The dealer tells me the bearing is 2 or 3 weeks away. It's also CDN$70.00.
I ordered and paid for one, but would like to see if my local bearing shop can supply quicker. I'm not able to heat and pull the old one at this time.
Does anyone know the bearing number that I could use or how to reference it?
I've purchased steering head bearings before from the local supplier at less than half the cost of BMW. They work fine. After all, BMW does not make bearings.

Hi, Don,
My K75 bikes, being monolever, don't use the paralever bearings. If I did use them, however, I would trash the bearings, buy and install a set of BUSHINGS from either Tom Cutter or Ted Porter. I think they are about $130, but they don't break (like the bearings do) and don't need to be replaced almost every time the brarings are removed and reinstalled. Good Luck!

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the reply. I priced the bushings last year. I'm not sure if they are available for the rear end. I thought they were only for the swing arm.
I'd be tempted to buy them, but don't have time to wait. I was hoping to source them locally.
I'd sure like to have the bearing number, if anyone has it.
