Do they really make a diff..
gonna replace mine very soon
and wanted to know if I should buy bmw or should i get the cheap ones.
When I start my bike I get a little mis until it warms up after about two or three min it runs smooth so it's either the plugs or the Injecter that I CLEANED. so should I replace the plugs or the Injecter..??

I go by the philosophy of you get out of it what you put into it. For the miles you go before changing plugs I find it a worthwhile investment to get better plugs. I put in NGK irridiums and noticed and increase in acceleration, smoothness in the entire rpm range and an increase in mpg.

I, too, hope they are worth it. However, I started using Autolite 4163 plugs in my first K1100LT, continued with my second K1100LT (killed by a deer) and continue to use them in my K75's. The MOST EXPENSIVE ones have cost me $1.25 each. I can feel no difference in starting nor on acceleration. As for plug life, I change them out every year or two, or when I've covered at least 12k miles with them in the bike. No problems. I refuse to pay a dealer close to $10 each for spark plugs! The Iridium plugs may work well and may be worth the $34, but not to me! But that's my opinion: yours may be different.

+ 1 on the Autolite 4163 plugs ( they come with the screw on ends too )

Also would suggest when you have the plug wires off to look at the ends - I had one full of white/green corrosion - eng still ran fine. Cleaned them out with electronic spray clean & bore brush. Had to replace one - metal clip on end was damaged - would not grip plug. Don't forget the boot grease/lube too.

Be careful with the wires too. They are like 600 dollars EACH to replace.

These guys have a replacement set of nice looking wires for $89.50 for the whole set! Some pretty cool other stuff as well, check 'em out! They also have fuses that light up a small internal led if they are burnt. Duck, some more led's you can add to your bikes!

For those looking to stay with the Bosch XR7LDC I got my last batch from Sparkplugs.com for $4.43 ea. About 1/2 what they get for them from a dealer.
Even adding the $10 for shipping of 8, still comes up less than $12 ea from the stealers.

i installed new bosch xr7ldc units 2 weeks ago...

had 2 years on the old ones... was not having any problems... but my mileage went up from approx 40mpg to approx 45mpg...

i even got 50mpg on 1 tank... but that was no slabb...
