Easy way to check for air leaks around TBS: Buy a can of starting fuild and spray it around the various rubber bits. If the RPMs chance then you've got a leak.
(You used to be able to use WD-40 but the safety Nazis forced then to later it so that it's now non-flammable.) _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Huh, when did this happen? I've always used it for starter fluid. _________________ 1993 K1100RS

In the last few years I think. I've got old and new. The new is not flammable - so I save the old stuff for starting fires and burning neighborhood cats. I use the new stuff for lubrication. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

No one of the rubber stoppers on the throttle body blew off.
I had a replacement and all is good. _________________ In the words of the stones
