1. send rear works shock for repair..It leaks Sad
2. repair or replace stantions/tubes because they are pitted.
might try wet sanding them first. and the replacing seals
and dust covers again.
3. buy and better batt for ABS.
4. buy the springy bobbins and new c-clips for rotors.
5. find lid for my side cases and locking latch to lock it
to the bike.
6. replace the seat Cool
7. replace the fule sending unit so my gas gauge works

probley do the inexpensive this first.
as for the rear shock .. thinking about putting a regular shock
on first so i can still ride while my works is being repaired
this will take awhile because of lack of funds but it will be done Cool

Hi, Endoman,
If money is an issue at this time, you might try replacing ONLY the spring bobbins (6) instead of all 24 bobbins. I have heard this works - for a while. If you do, move the spring bobbins one hole away so they are not in the location of an old spring bobbin. Also, if you're careful, you can probably reuse the washers and the spring clips. As far as the fork tubes, I don't know where or how badly yours are pitted. My last K1100LT's tubes were pitted quite a bit, but at the top with very little, if any, pitting where the seals contacted. You might just need new seals. Feel the whole area where the seals slide and if there is ANY roughness, stone it out with a very fine whetstone. At the same time, install fork gaiters. These will do the most to protect the seals so they won't start leaking in another few thousand miles. Good Luck!
Ride Safe,

Have you checked the gap on the ABS sensors?

Are your ABS stickers missing? They're usually right next to the ABS somewhere. Front is 0.50 - 0.55 mm; rear is 0.60 - 0.65 mm. Do you have an owner's manual for the bike? If so, the instructions for checking the gap are in there.

There should be an ABS feeler gauge in your tool kit.
