I'm in for a few bucks, a slightly used, very exhausted gerbil and a half-gone bottle of astroglide.

Hi, All,
If Ted comes to Hungry Mother II, he will be presented with a cigar from an unnamed nation in the Caribbean famous for such things, if I can find such a cigar my next trip to Mexico. (I live close to the border and my barber is in Mexico.)

Sounds like a good idea to me. I never really considered what it costs to host such a site (?)

I think Ted is more of a "pay it forward" type of guy. I don't know if there are any specific causes or organizations that he's particularly fond of...

Jim, however, already has a paypal account Very Happy .

my suggestion is to put a button on all the pages.
then setup the payment so that hosting site gets the money in between the
billing cycles; that way ted only has to cover the balance for the cycle.
of course ted could be using bandwidth form some 3rd world that are paying him to use bandwith... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

+ 1 Limey.
Perhaps we should donate say 10% of all the gold this site has saved us over the years. That'll subsidise the server for ages.

Drake, denying us the opertunity to give when our heart wish to do so ....

Gwen, why do you feel the need to give me some kind of lecture when all I was doing was reporting what had happened in the past regarding this issue?

However, if you want my .02, here it is:

If Ted wants to accept donations, fine, and I, like others, would be more than happy to pitch in. If he doesn't want to accept donations and wants to do this out of the goodness of his heart then that's fine too. It's his prerogative.
