|
|
Since I have the swing arm and rear drive off, I was wondering what to use to give them a fresh coat of paint. My rear drive is a little scratched up. Does anyone have something that they have had good luck with....or just go with a rustoleum?
Thanks for any advice.

If it's black, I cleaned mine up and used Hammerite Black 'Satin' with good results, 3 or 4 coats at 15 minute intervals. _________________

If is were me, I would powder coat them, but that would mean you would have to remove all the guts out of the final drive.

Would LOVE to go that route.....but too much work and $ for now. I think I am going to powder coat the wheels though...before new tires go on.

Yeah, still not the same as a true black FD.
But I guess it's still better than that hideous silver.

The Hammerite gives it a nice matt finish - done correctly it looks like new. _________________
