After the spline lube I took the RS (96) out for a test run. The battery light stayed on a little long. Thursday I rode to work and noticed that the light stayed on until I shifted to 2nd gear. I had the battery on charge Wednesday night and it's not even a year old yet. Any ideas?
Thanks, Mike _________________ IBA#42211

The Light you refer to is a Charge current /Altenator light so it could be a earth /ground wire or a deeper problem but since the problem only occured after you were working on the bike I would check earth/ground connections first.
