1500 miles or there about. Left Saturday morning and rode down 81 to Northern VA, where I got on the Skyline Drive. Rode the full length and then got on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Rode to Roanoke VA. The next day I rode down the BRP to Franklin NC. The next day I went to the Wheels through Time museum. Fantastic place to see. Tuesday I blasted home. 646 miles all highway. I am loving the LT!

I did a majority of the BRP this year myself. Beautiful country...

Thanks, The previous owner took really good care of it. It did have a bunch of stickers on it which I removed.

John, you no doubt had a great ride. That area is one of my favorites. Question for you. Somewhere I read that Wheels through Time was located at Gatlinberg, TN, however, I seem to remember it being in Maggie Valley. Did it move?

"On July 4th, 2002 Wheels Through Time Museum became a reality when it opened its 38,000 square foot facility in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Now in its 15th year of operation, the facility features one of the world’s premier collections of Vintage American Transportation, guiding visitors through the evolution of American motorcycling and automotive history. The museum has attracted worldwide media attention and brought hundreds of thousands of visitors to Maggie Valley, North Carolina from all over the globe."

Jim, been to Maggie Valley museum a few times. Dale (RIP) even dumped a can of Sea Foam in my rough running R100S one time to clean it up.

Dale's son Matt is now in charge. You can tell that apples don't fall far from the tree. I talked to him for quite a while. Nice guy, very knowledgeable about every bike in the museum.
