Has anyone tried to get a replacement drive gear for the windscreen operator? The gear is attatched to the motor and drives the cables in the tubes.
I have pulled the cables and cleaned/ lubed quite well but the gear still slips from time to time, and looking at it close, it does show signs of wear.
I can probably live with it but a new gear would be nice.
I found no individual part # for just the gear, only the whole motor assembly.

I think your best bet would be to put an ad up on IBMWR looking to buy a dead motor for cheap.

hello s_a...
i cant answer your question... but i notice your signature has 2 motobricks listed...
my recollection is you really have 3 motobricks... 2 with electrified wind deflectors and 1 with manual wind deflector...
i may have to show up unannounced in two weeks from today to investigate the situation...

Hopefully I'll have the '96 back together by then, so we can get yours out. 
It's snowing here now. Maybe the snow will be gone by then too.
