Anyone ever try these? They seem like a decent price point, and say that they're "water-resistant," but I'm wondering what exactly that means.
I would assume it means that a 4-hour stint in a downpour isn't going to result in dry feet, but how about an hour? Maybe two? _________________ 1993 K1100RS

I guess I should really just ignore them and try to find something with gore-tex. _________________ 1993 K1100RS

Well, after looking around at all the styles, and then looking at the budget, I've decided to go all out and order a can of Dubbin.
I like my paratroop boots, and they should last me a little while longer, so I'm going to Dubbin the crap out of them. If there was some protection over the side zipper, they'd be ideal, but what're ya gonna do, right?
Oh, right, order real gore text boots.

I use Mink Oil. Rub it on then hit it with a heat gun - it liquifies and gets absorbed into the leather - into all of the places water would go. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
