Last night I once again met up the guy(Bill) who makes the only shelves out there for K1100LTs. He's still willing to make them. He's also upgraded his design so it's easier to mount.
FYI: He does the Iron Butt on his extremely farkled 96 LT with 96k on it. He's considering doing next year's Iron Butt on the LT too but is being lured by the prospect of a K12GT.
He's got quite a few bikes so don't let the LT mileage fool you - including a HD he's about to turn 200k on. That's his daily rider while the LT is his tourer and Iron Butt bike.
Here's a linky to his website. He has so much stuff on his bike you can barely see the shelf but it is a clean looking setup if you don't pile 18 gadgets on it.
