I need to order a custom braided stainless front brake line for my project K75. I need to figure out which fittings are required.

The top will go from a K75/K100 master cylinder - a 30 degree banjo bolt. I see 10mm and 11mm banjo bolts. Which do I need?

At the caliper, there' a metal line coming out of it with a threaded male fitting on it. Obviously I'll need a female fitting at the end of my brake line. I see 3AN and %AN fittings available. Which one should I order?

Can't you take the fittings down to your local "brakeline manufacturer" and have one built? No old hose line?

I actually do have a line that I cobbled together from various bits and peices I had around. Was hoping to just order something off of the Internet instead of paying someon to build me a custom line.

And I don't know how to find a local shop that would do it at a decent price. Have been Googling but without success.

It should take a 10mm banjo bolt at the caliper.

the braided stainless line, you want AN3, any bigger you'll never get it bled.

to attach to the hard line you'll need an adapter, and I'm not sure which one, but it should have male AN3 on one end and whatever female metric thread and flare is on the hard line.

Just get the line with AN3 females on both ends, then a banjo bolt with AN3 fitting and the adapter. works fine and cheaper than a cutom made one.

If you're not in a hurry I'll see if I can find the setup I removed from the K11 when I ditched the ABS and find out what adapter I used there.

Also I've been getting most of my brake plumbing pieces from Summit Racing. fairly easy search to find.

Thanks for confirming on the 10mm and AN3. I was starting to come to that conclusion.

After waaaay too much time banging the keyboard, I found premade lines with a 10mm 30 degree banjo and straight AN3 female in variabloe lengths. A 26" line (what I think I need) is only $22 (plus $13 shipping)

I think I"m going to see if I can figure out what I'd need to do all of the front lines on the RS. Looks like it would be about $80 and if I can get the total tab over $100 then I get free shipping. Might do the LT too while I'm at it.

Though I dread the thought of having to get both systems primed if I replace lines.

The only thing on the RS is the weird angles inthe banjo bolts.(I was looking at some spares I have.) The premade ones I found are limited to straight, 30 and 90 degree banjo bolts. I'll have to pull the rear fender and see if I can work with those limitations..I"m sure the LT has some funk to it too.

I'd just as soon not have stainless on the rear - those are easy enough to lock up as it is so I figure a little mush isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Did oyu have stainless leftover fomr when you ditched your ABS? If so I might be interested.
