I too have experienced excessive speeds as recorded by a gps device. I have Roadangel speed camera alert thingy in the car and occaisionaly it displays speeds up to 495mph but unfortunatly it has no memory function so that I can save it. I thought it might be a good selling point for the car if I could download the evidence.

GPS is prone to occasional anomalies like that. My Harley clocked 237mph on my big trip last year. And it's bone stock!

Thank god there weren't any cops around! I'd already been pulled over on the trip twice in one day within a 2 hour period (eastern Washtington is only populated by many cops with REALLY good radar - BEWARE!).
