Even better. Especially if jo can arrange some smoked cloven-hoofed critter flesh. Not sure I want him to pull anything off, however...

Um, dear…. just a tiny point of order, no pun intended… announcing, “I’m in!” to a girl is something most fellows would be reluctant say in open forum.
But I loves ya anyway, because it’s not about size, or so I’ve heard.
And I’m glad you’re in…. well you know what I mean. |

Any guy who has to announce that he's in to a girl in the first place probably isn't making the girl very happy. Just sayin'....

Not that I'd show up anyhow but I think the 4th of July is a B-A-A-A-A-D idea:
1) WAY too much traffic on holiday weekends. I avoid riding on holiday weekends.
2) a lot of those drivers are DRUNK - or at least distracted by a car full of screaming kiddies
3) That's when Dungee crabbing season opens - there are no Dungees in Montana _________________ 93 LT (x2)

i think the 4th of july weekend is a bad idea too...
i was just saying its the only weekend we can make it... then i mentioned that you k11og folks go ahead and have fun without us... that we will make it someday... when we ditch our jobs...
i never asked for a change of plans... my post about 4th of july weekend was just that... a post about our schedule and being off 4th of july weekend...
read for yourself...
PostPosted: Thu Jun 19, 2008 10:46 pm
here you go...
we have the same 2 weeks off at the 4th of july every year... we leave our rig in spokane and fly to minneapolis and drive to mickis moms in iowa... then we have to drive to chicago for meetings and fly from chicago to spakane...
this year... 2008... we fly out of spokane on friday june 27 and have to be at the home office in chicago for meetings on monday july 14...
next year... 2009... we fly out of spokane on friday june 26 and have to be at the home office in chicago for meeting on monday july 13...
so the only way we will ever meet up with the gang of geezers is the weekend of the 4th of july... its the only way...
so you geezers enjoy... that crazy wench and i will wait until we ditch this wacko job to do a k11og meet up...
there you are...
and then a clarification...
Posted: Tue Jun 24, 2008 8:38 am
the weekend of july 4th... anywhere... but im not asking for you folks to scrap your family holiday festivities... im just saying thats the only weekend in the entire year that we have more than 2 or 3 days off from work...
so whenever it is... have fun... we will catch up with you folks on down the road...
jo
___
so you hifalutin geezers get off the 4th of july ...already

Ok peeps,
I'm making plans to attend several 2009 M/C related events.
From ADV:
Eastern Rendezvous in Hot Springs, NC
BYOB in TN
Pacific Wet Fest in OR in mid Sept. (with that Steve and are are planning to take 2.5 - 3.0 weeks off to include a ride up to Haines, AK and south some distance down 101 near Corvalis, OR.
So is anybody ready to talk about when and where the K11 group is going to meet?
EDIT:
Ok, I re-read the thread, and this is what I understand:
The ONLY time owrstrich can be anywhere is 4th of July. JO contributes so much to this site, that even though there is increased traffic to deal with, I’m willing to deal with it to just to meet the man.
How about somewhere near Rapid City, SD?
It’s fairly central and kinda close to where JO will be (as best as I can tell) _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Oh no young man, it is thou that art discombobulated
Please take note my colloquy above, wherein I did promulgate the following, "JO contributes so much to this site".
No where did I advocate or postulate the term "positive" in reference to your contribution to this most Holy website of K-Bike worship.
