Part 3 finds us in northern Nevada on the final stretch for home.
A bit of snow to start the day
How about a lot of snow! Good thing it wasn't sticking.
The biggest little city
Another town another trinket. I have a whole shelf of these - one from every place I've visited.
These people were on their way to get married. We had a few laughs and toasted him on his last moments of singledom
A golden moment
Another golden moment
The lucky rainbow
Oregon sunset
Near Crater Lake
Get out the snowplow
Although we got to the rim of Crater Lake it was completely fogged in, so we decided to take a shortcut back to the highway
We didn't make it
Halfway
Southeast Oregon is big sky country
No pay-at-the-pump here
Like a postcard
Columbia River Gorge between Oregon and Washington
Columbia River
More clouds
Away we go!
So another trip is done. This one was lots of fun. From the depths and heat of Death Valley to the mountains of Yosemite and the windy Oregon plains it was a whole lotta fun.
Next big trip will be 10 days from Vancouver to Gillette, Wyoming for the BMW rally. Hope to see you there!

Maybe I'll see you in Guilette. Leaving Seattle on Sunday, July 13th with 5 other bikes. Plan to return by Sunday the 20th.
BTW, we may be taking Lolo Pass on the way to Guilette. I hear that's a great ride. |

I can't decide which I enjoy more: looking at these beautiful photos or that beautiful LT. _________________ tlp

Only the Reasonists. They believe in an evidence-based world, something called Rationalism. But it's a tiny group, not so influential.
