I'm trying to talk a friend into trading exhaust systems with me. Will the full system from my 1994 RS fit my buddy's 1992 K1?
If I can talk him out of his sexy carbon fiber Luftmeister dual pipe system, my bike will finally be FINISHED... |

What does the DUAL PIPE mean/look like?
As long as it has a bung for the O2 sensor then it will bolt right up.
My Staintune came from a parts K100RS4V. Fortunately it has a bung for the O2 sensor.
If it does, then it will have a threaded plug in it. Simply move that to your exhaust when you move it to the K1. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

The header splits 4 into 2 then runs 2 cans, one on each side. The right can bolts to the rear peg assembly just like the left side. This is the only setup like this I've seen anywhere...
Even with the carbon fiber cans it probably weighs a bit more overall... but OMG it sounds sooooo good...
Sorry no side views.

Interesting - never seen that before. Did you determine if it has an O2 bung?
How'd he get a license plate without numbers on it? _________________ 93 LT (x2)
