Welcome back, and be prepared to shell out a boatload of quid for a new Ohlins.

Not sure of where to buy tho.

I know about the price tag but it is a BMW isn't it? This is the last bit so this bike will be DONE to my satisfaction so I am getting excited.

I got one of mine from one of my parts bikes and then had it rebuilt for $225 at Aftershocks.

I found the other one on an eBay Buy-it-now for $400. They don't come up on the used market or Ebay very often though. I think people take them to their graves with them or something.

Another option is a Wilbers. Just about as good as an Ohlins at about halfthe price. And they build it to your specs so you know you have the right spring for your weight.

Someone knows a shop in San Francisco that sells Olhins Shocks?
I ask because in september I'll go there and I want to buy one to my KLT.
Or in Los Angeles and Reno.
Thanks.
Guilherme.

I'm sure any bmw dealer would be happy to order one for you. I know Ted Porter's The Beemershop sells Ohlins and Wilbers, but I doubt he stocks either one for the K1100. I do know he'd be happy to order one and will take good care of you. He's my preferred shop in the Bay Area for service.

FWIW, the adjusters on Wilbers are much nicer than on Ohlins. Other than that, they're comparable shocks.

I've had good luck with Penske shocks, they've changed springs and valving at no cost to get what I wanted, I just paid shipping back and forth.

Like the others, they're not cheap.
