K75 is a nice ride too...I really like the 2v motor, they got some flack, but when they are tuned right are a great smooth motor. |

Yeah, I still like riding the K75s - so dang smooth.
I'll bet they don't get too many visitors from Seattle at TWO. That was from my round the country tour in May/June of 2004. 11,500+ miles and 32 days - until my splines crapped out in MN.
Doesn't look like Hungry Momma is in the cards for me. Still comtemplating a showing at the MOA Rally in Wyoming though. (Not sure if I want to break my "I've never attended a motorcycle function of any kind" record though. ) At the very least, I may be in the area around the time of the rally - I'm having very strong urges to go ride the LT around without a helmet. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I totally understand......My first rally was the RA at Biltmore. Rally's are not my cup of tea, But motorcycles invading Biltmore was worth doing....
Sorry you cant make it to HM. |

Liquor laws are usually dictated by individual states, but counties also have the option of creating their own local laws. There are countless dry counties in the states - some where no liquor is sold, some where you can't even buy beer in a store - only from a bar. Just about any situation you can imagine can be found in some part of the country.
For instance, in Madison, Wisconsin, O'Doul's (non alcoholic beer) will be locked up at 10 or 11 PM with the other beer. At the same time, various cough and cold, toothache and cold sore remedies containing up to 90% alcohol http://www2.potsdam.edu/hansondj/healthissues/1127525665.html will be left on the counter for sale 24 hours a day. _________________ Jim

believe it or not, there are still dry counties on the US. And there are still a couple of states I think that have "blue laws" - no liquor sales on Sundays. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
