Newbie Here,

Working on a gearbox replacement, clutch and rear main seal project.

Has anyone regreted being less than sober? On what repair or mod?

Been sober for 18 years so can't comment on that.

But WUI (wrenching under the influence) is pretty much the norm here!

Yes, on numerous occasions Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Shocked Oh, I just saw the second part of the question - quit drinking right before I started riding and wrenching. Somehow getting on a two wheeled vehicle capable of very high speeds while under the influence did not pass the common sense test.

What's wrong with drinking after riding??? Or wrenching? But I don't generally mix mods and drinking because I loose all ambition. Wink

I'm finding that at the beginning of a repair/mod session with the 93 K1100LT I am as meticulous as Shoganai in regards to detail and documentation. Then towards the end of the session (after a few beverages) I am less diligent with my notes and I have different sizes of screws/parts and nuts that I need to find homes for. Thank Goodness for this forum!

Once I ate a lightingbug. Embarassed
At a motorcycle rally.
In Ohio.
I was later kicked out, with police escort.
There were lots of BMW's there.

I guess that counts. Crying or Very sad

(I was riding with a friend that got us kicked us. (He was an ass)
I was just collateral damage from his behavior as we were together)
