Does anyone know what the heck difference adjusting the small top screen airfoil on the K11RS makes?? Theres nothing about it in the manual, and I cant seem to see any difference when riding. What was the idea, fully 'out' to send the flowing air higher??

with mine up all the way up i get no blast at all on my chest or neck or head...
with mine all the way down i get the blast on my neck and head... so its good on hot days but the buffeting forces me to put it all the way up...
i tried the laminar lip but got buffeting all the time...
so... i keeps it up all the time... was thinking about putting some micro swirl on it just for the he11 of it... who knows...
im thinking you justs gotts to try it at different positions...

Thanks for that. I will give it a try at speed, and see how it feels. Really odd that it's not mentioned anywhere in the owners manual, plenty on the LT screen.

I've found the lip on the K-RS makes little or no difference, depending on wind direction. _________________ 2000 R1100RT

It makes minimal difference to me. Slightly less buffeting when it's down so I keep it there. Slightly less helmet noise as well. I'm 6'3" and would really need an LT to get real weather protection fropm the shoulders up. But on the RS I'm leaning slightly forward anyway so need some wind force to balance things up. I feel in a neutral position i.e wind balances my lean at about 80mph. _________________ 1980 CB900FA
