Posi-Products wire connectors are far superior to any other solderless connector I've ever tried.
Posi-Products occasionally runs specials. Sale is on now until Tuesday 4/1: http://www.posi-lock.com/online_unadv_specials.cfm _________________ Jim

Flying Duck electtrical tip #42:
If you use these (and they ARE good), you can get the best connection if you make a guide hole through the center of the wire with a push pin before installing the Posi-Tap. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

if you work on a 2006 of later car in the USA you will find that the posi-lock conectors are in quite a few places not to mention the universal o2 sensor replacement part .. these are the best soiderless conectors on the market.. _________________ fix the problem not the blame ; fix what is messed up ; NO one is to blame. |

Was installing a set of hyper-lites on the K12 this afternoon (the K75 already has something similar) and everything looked easy unitil I made the last connection--and no joy.
Turns out one of the posi-taps had a blunted needle and didn't pierce the insulation. Scraped a bit of insulation (it was the brown ground), made sure that the scraped portion was facing "up," tightened it down--and joy.
It might be advisable before installing the taps to check the piercing needle....
Spent more time in 100 degree heat than I really wanted to.

The new O2 sensor I bought came with these things. First experience with them. Bad news- the BMW OEM wires are a thicker gauge than the new sensor. The taps were a PITA to use.
Chucked 'em. NOTHING, NOTHING... is better that a properly soldered joint w/ heat shrink tubing to seal it. Do it right and that connection will never be questioned. PERIOD. DONE. _________________ John & Cathy
