isn't that the one Duck was selling for a buck?
Isn't there still one online you can download? I'll have to look and see if it's still there. If it is, there's no charge for the download.... _________________ Jim

I thought this was a different one. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

It's the same one as the free link in the technical resources sticky thread.
But I think OTG should buy one just to be sure. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

There's probably more than $1.99 worth of paper in the thing. If you don't have to pay shipping, you'll likely come out ahead. Let us know how that works out.

I believe I have misjudged Mr. Duck. I would not have expected him to give anything away that he could have sold. _________________ tlp

Read the ad more closely - there is no paper involved.
They want folks to pay $1.99 for something which is in the public domain.
All of their listings are available on the relevant owners sites, FoC
The sticky at the top of the tech page takes you straight to it. Googling for the K1100 workshop manual was how I found this excellent site
We should put a $0.01 item on eBay every week, with a link to this site.
They would get it for free, and we boost the profile of the site. Everyone wins !
If folk are too lazy to use Google, then let them pay $1.99 to the parasites who lurk in dark corners of fleBay (Exploiting the unsuspecting, naieve or downright stupid) _________________ C1 200 (2001)

Precisely. If it were a commune, I would expect a communist form of economic exchange. Since it's not, capitalism would seem to be in order.
Actually, for me our community is just a place for some weird dude from Minnekota to release his imagined witicisms without having to endure the rolling of eyes first hand.
But I like the tech info, too.
And j o is a hoot.
And Jim has some good jokes in the Dungeon.
And Shoganai rocks.
And seeing all of FD's photos is like reading a biography of Hemmingway.
And looking at photos of rydor's Interlagos Blue RS sustains my need to experience beauty - at least a couple times a week (I just ignore the stickers).
And I'm hoping Das Boot will get me a good deal on my next ride (someday).
And OTG keeps me wondering...
And, man, what a thread hijack. But what do you expect for $1.99? _________________ tlp
