Has anyone tried using the connector diagram that Mr. Warner has drawn in the Motronic sticky thread? I tried using it and found that my connector does not jive with the diagram i.e. missing recepticles. Has anyone had that connector apart? The bike runs and starts etc. It seems to me to be a limited diagram by years or maybe for the K100. Any thoughts good people? _________________ "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges"!

mr the dog,
The connector, drawn by mr Warnes is correct for pre 93 bikes. Somewhere in 93 a change was made in the K1100 series. the post 93 models have a lot of different wiring, including the connector. another nice example is de sidestandswitch wiring, which is positive pre 93 and ground post 93. but I digress.
If you need the pinout for the newer bikes let me know, I have a BMW motronic guide, which includes the pinouts. unfortunatly, its in german.

Daniel - I'd be interested in anything you've got; there isn't that much available on the later Motronic 2.2 that I've found, and even wading through the German might be worth it!!
Cheers
