Noise...
Did you happen to blow out one or both of your fork seals on those
bad roads? You'll know by the oil all over the lower legs & elsewhere.
Knocking noise?? Does it make noises when you put on the front
brake & push & pull on the handle bars while sitting in place? Do these
noises occur when you are riding? More info please...
Others with more knowledge will surely chime in. _________________ Kent

At what point in the in the travel of the fork up and down does the noise happen?
Have you noticed any fork oil leaking?

Are you sure it's the forks? Check also for missing bolts in the fairing nose & fractures in the fairing bracket that bolts to the headstock (English Word)
Also consider the bearing adjustment / wear. _________________ Regards Tim,

Under light front brake application the noise goes away. The floating rotors on these cobble stone roads makes quite a racket. I am not sure how loose the rotors can be but I am not going to address that problem until I return. I had the front brake master cylinder repaired in Puerto Vallarta and I had the parts. My suggestion is if you are traveling and anticipate the need for repairs bring your own parts. If you need to ship them from the USA use DHL services. Thanks for your input and suggestions.

Wow, have you grabbed the calipers and given them a tug? If one of those was loose........... _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT
