I am new to this board although I have been driving BMWs for the last 22 years. Preparing for a trip to Mexico for a month I was pulling a lot of defered maintaince on my K1100LT. New cables, fuel and coolant hoses, filtes and fluids. This bike was dormant for the last 4 years but got new tires and a 60,000 mile service before I put it up. During the process, I lost the part the retains the throttle cable to the brake/ throttle assembly. Flying duck save the day with the part and the LED Kit he furnishes. I had to replace a dash light also. I found it expedient to remove the windshield component of the fairing to access the instrument cluster fasteners.

Thanks for the unexpected gift from Flying Duck also. It will help me in the servicing of this motorcycle.
