Disclaimer: The following does not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the poster.

But I'm guessing that this may make a few out there "LOL."

To All My Liberal Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or explicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere .

Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

To All My Conservative Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Shiney-up. Beemered

season greetings from snowdrifted and windswept 10 degrees right now northeast iowa...

my jeep... gets driven 3 weeks a year... 1 week at christmas... 2 weeks at independence day... poor thing...

the machine shed... where my iowa motorcycle will live... if i ever get one... for 3 weeks more riding a year...

it aint no brick house... but i still dont want to go in there... no one has been in there for decades...

gotta keep the little men away from the wimmins... they will make their daddy proud one day...

all snugged up... i will smoke no swine before its time... these little ones got a few more months...

you know... you gotta eat...

By the looks of the local climate in December, good luck with that week of riding at Christmas! Wink
