A friend and I took an 8 hour ride today, stopping for a while in Grafton, a pretty Illinois town at the confluence of the Illinois and Missippi rivers. Temps ranged from 26-34 degrees. Note the high water mark from the big 1993 flood on the building in the first picture.

Enjoy those winter rides Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Your bike looks great. I plan on ridding all winter, on a Ural. It snowed here last night and was 26. I have ridden down to 16 on two wheels, but with bad roads I think I'll stick to 3 wheels. A group of us never put our bikes up for the winter, you never now when a nice day may show up.

I went for a ride Monday (25dg) as the forecast called for snow that night. Rode around Hauser Lake, something I've been meaning to do for sometime. The speed limit is 25 Twisted Evil and I really enjoyed looking at all the cabins and houses along the lake. Sorry, no pics. Maybe next time. rydor, AWESOME pics!

I mean, it is cool and all...

Nice pictures Rydor. I also agree about cold weather riding. I would take 10 degrees and clear roads over what we have right now- I've had to plow more than a foot of snow over the past 24 hours.

Thanks again for the pictures. At least I can look at them and plan our Summer trips- one is to the Akron, Ohio area.

Ah, yes - I knew that. The K1200S wheel has spiraling spokes.

And, yes, they both are things of beauty.
