Like a jerk I took off the fuel sending unit on the underside of the gas tank, anyone know exactly how it's supposed to be put back, my tank is almost empty and now reads full??

Thanks.

Larry - make sure the float isn't hung up on something. You can do almost anything you need to in the tank after removing the filler neck.

thanks I'll give it a try, but the problem is that I removed the assembly underneath the tank and since it's "square" I thought there is a "correct way to put it back...but I'll give it a try.
