Anybody tried handguards on an RS or LT?
I'm 99% sure that the R1100 ones would work since they have thesame master cylinder and perch.
Just wondering if they'll hit the fairing on a K11RS. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I called my FLD and they have a set in stock. I'm going to ride over there tomorrow on the RS and see if they'll work.
I'm riding from Seattle to San Fancisco on Sunday in rain which is why I'm looking into this. I usually carry three or fours sets of gloves with me for the rain. I can usually go about 2.5 hours until my gloves soak through and my hands get miserable. Then I put a dry set of gloves on and hit the road again for another couple of hours.
(I've also found that neoprene gunting gloves are good for cold wet weather - I'm not sure how much protection they'd provide in a fall however.) _________________ 93 LT (x2)

So the dealer told me I could return them if they didn't work so I bought a set of the R1100RS handgurds.
They fit BUT:
LT: You can almost get to full lock turning before they hit the fairing.
RS: Not enoough room for them - and even if they did fit I don't think you could see much in the mirrors. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
