After a couple of weeks on the LT I have concluded that I do need a slightly taller screen - and for reasons of economy I am wavering over the one supplied by Motorworks and the Secdem supplied by Moto-Bins.

However, I came across this - has anyone tried it on an LT ?

I use something similar to that, http://www.wunderlichamerica.com/motorcycle/8110025.html and it works. It takes some time adjusting out on the road, stop, adjust, ride, stop, adjust and etc. It cut out 75% of the noise on my helmet and the buffeting.

Just get one of these, in a +4, if you are in the six foot range.

Look under replacement windshields on this site. BMW, of course.

You won't regret it for $179, US. You can lower your screen way down and the wind blast shoots over your head and you can still look over it. Cool

Just ordered one, I'll see...
Unfortunately no tinted version available anymore.

#6, I think you'll find that if you raise the screen just off the stops it will be enough to keep the wind out of your face. Cool

That's about where I have mine. I might be 1/2" up off the stops.

Yup, if I was on your side of the pond the Parabellum would be my choice.

Unfortunately, shipping makes it a little expensive over here (unless anyone knows of a UK/Euro supplier).

I think I'm leaning towards the Secdem

Might be a bit late for you, but Eagle Screens in West Oz make various size screens for bricks - http://www.eaglescreens.com.au/

So I got the parabellum windshield.

Unfortunately, they didn't notify me that it was shipped, so when I sent an email asking when they plan to ship it, they answered it was already delivered! Then I found the package in the bushes soaked wet, randomly left there by UPS. To my surprise, the cleaning product I ordered with it was not in the package, and they didn't offer to send it to me, they only paid it back, I told them it is not what I want but they don't care and call it "even Okay", maybe for them but not for me.
Now the windshield itself is much thinner and lighter that the original, there are rubber parts with it but no mounting instructions, you've got to figure by yourself what to do with the rubber parts.

I tried it this morning, it is efficient though, don't need to raise it much and the angle is then much better than with the original all the eay up, I'll see if it lasts long term. Now I need to find out how I can clean it since I don't have their product.

Product seems OK, but customer service is really very bad.

Try some Plexus. I use it on my screen and on my helmet visor.

Parabellum + 4 arrived & installed - works a treat.
Ordered some Novus # 1 to keep it clean.
Can't get the black labs in Australia , nor could it be shipped from the states.
Have nothing but good things to say about my dealings with Parabellum.
robleyd, unfortunately was too late, but no regrets....will do my research better next time ....
