I saw one recently and it was just stunning...a match made in heaven. Used K1 mudguards are £140 from Motorworks, excluding fittings. The colour would be wrong, which would give me an excuse for a vinyl wrap.... |

If you do a little research you'll find that K1 fenders are not particularly well-designed and have a tendency to crack. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

That sounds rather messy. But this is all hypothetical unless I commit to a wrap for the whole bike, or get the hypothetical mudguard professionally painted....which would cost a bomb and wouldn't match, what with it being a metallic colour on a 24 year old bike. Knowing my luck the bike will probably get knocked over and scratched up by a car driver on skunk, and then I'll be more motivated to get a wrap. |

You could always buy a used one, make a mold and make your own from a stronger material like kevlar sheets. Or scan it and 3D print it. _________________ To err once is human. To do so repeatedly is incompetence.

This is not rocket science. And NASA is overrated, IMO. _________________ To err once is human. To do so repeatedly is incompetence.
