Jim, thanks for the "flowers!" It pains me to sell my old girl. Had her since 1997 when I drove her off the lot. That bike and I have seen most of Western Europe (Alps!) and a lot of the South West US (fast desert runs out to Tucson AZ). I think it's been the single best investment I have ever made! And as bikes go, one would be hard pressed to find a bike with that many miles in such a clean state. I used to work with BMW / Edelweiss back in the day, and presentation was a big thing. To have an "old" bike all shiny and new, and be able to ride the thing in every conceivable environment was by business card. But, life, marriage, kids, etc all get the better of many of us. She hasn't been ridden 100 miles in the past two years. It's time for someone else to take her out on adventures.
Cheers,
