Anybody got a view on how long fork seals on a K11RS should last? I fitted a new set with new oil etc about a year and 8000 miles ago. I am "concerned" that they appear to be going again. Using a Sealmate appears to have "cured" the issue for now but just thought I would ask the question. Fork legs are free from rust and pitting. Is the issue dirt and dust gumming up the works? Or is this bike just hard on fork seals?

If using Sealmate, stops the leaking, then yes, it is dirt, bug guts, etc....
I'd suggest installing a set of fork gaitors or boots on the forks to help protect them.
I have them on both bikes with good results and longer seal life.

Bob - I think I have put over 50,000 on the K since the forks were rebuilt - at least 40,000 - put gaiters on then - no leaks yet.

If you're pulling wheelies all of the time then less dirt gets into the fork seals.
