Quick & dirty version:
1 - Remove inner knee panels.
2 - Remove gauge panels and the inner panels of the windscreen side "posts."
3 - Belly pan. Do the two bolts on the bottom at the rear first before doing the 4 side screws on each side.
4 - Radiator panel
5 - Left and right lowers
6 - Main fairing body.
There's a lot of screws and bolts and such, so in order to stay organized, I highly recommend keeping the parts for each step organized. To do this, I use Ziploc bags and Post-it notes. After completing each step of the removal process, I put all of the parts for that step/part in a Ziploc bag and then put a note with the sequence number and part name in the bag. This makes it much easier to find the fasteners/parts for a particular part when reassembling the fairing.
If you have enough room it also helps to line up the parts on the floor in the order that you took them off. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I did the radiator hoses and fluid change in one day. In order to keep all the screws in the right place I put them back in with the fairing panel removed. Just enough to hole them in place. I think the whole job took my 4 hours with a lunch break. If it was a long term job I would have used Duck's method. _________________ 1997 K1100LT
