Hello all. I just picked up my first 1996 k1100rs. This bike is a work in progress as half of the bike is in boxes since the gentleman I got it from had it disassembled to replace the rear main seal. I like to provide my own wrenching however I am new to BMW motorcycles ,having only worked on Honda, Triumph, and Harley Davidson motors thus far. I'm looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing pics of my completed machine. |

Welcome.
I don't envy you. I first learned about K bikes initially by taking them apart. Putting one back together that somebody else took apart is more challenging.
But they're great bikes and I'm sure you'll be happy with the finished product. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
