I am a little puzzled (and a little stupid) as to how to access the inside of the throttle. I have greased it once before but it was so long ago I cannot remember how to get to the actual cable.
I know that the front cover has to come off (Removed the allen screw) I then removed the switch gear but after that I am struggling.
Any advice please. _________________ 1997 K1100LT

What are you trying to grease? It's not advisable to put anything in the cable as it can cause the cable lining to degrade. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Not in the cable, just the end of the cable where the nipple hooks into the grip.
Irrespective of greasing, I still need to find out how the get to the end of the cable should the cable need replacing. _________________ 1997 K1100LT
