There is a lot of info on the K1100 and the engine cutting out when coming to a stop. I had this problem which appeared rather suddenly but non of the suggested solutions made any difference.

More investigation into the motor found that the fuel feed to the injector rail had perished and several pinholes were spraying very fine jets of fuel into the air which evaporated immediately. Obviously this was reducing the pressure available to the injectors.

I replaced the hose and the problem was solved.
