The LT doesn't have the usual K bike fork reflector. It's got a squarer one that's stuck to the rear half of the front fender.

The fiche picture I posted was for the LT. Not the first time I have seen a fiche be wrong.

I was kind of wondering about it- I know that the rear part of the LT fender covers the lower fork leg like this-

Unless you are going for exact OEM, something similar should be available at a local auto parts store, right?

Hmm, suspiciously, my LT had them in pictures before I painted it, and didn't have them afterwards. They look to be just adhesive backed amber reflectors. So I would think the auto parts place would have something.

This has all the parts listed for I think all bikes and cars made by BMW. It is an American site (the prices are in Dollars) and search down under K1100LT which can be found about 6 from the very bottom and the part you are looking for is under lighting and shows fork reflectors.

It seems only the plastic lenses are still available, the mounting plates are not The listing has 'ended' (or is 'greyed out) alongside which means they are no longer available new.

The sticky backed reflectors to go on the side of the fender is not listed only the parts that fit onto the forks. I feel that these as not standard and may be adapted reflectors only which have sticky backs on them.

Every K1100LT I've ever seen has them but from looking around at K1100LT pictures from around the world many don't (including BMW factory pics) so I think it may be something that was added by BMW North America for DOT compliance or whatever - which would explain why they don't show up in the parts fiche.

Conversly I have never seen a K1100 LT or RS in UK fitted with either type. The last bike I have ever seen from BMW with the same reflectors, was a 1988 BMW R100RT.
