So my K1100LT has a new owner in LA, and being in SC, looking for shipping options.
Anyone shipped a bike across the country before? Who did you use and what cost?
Anyone want to ride it to CA for me?
Who here lives in the LA area? He'll need tutelage for the first oil change and such. _________________ 2014 R1200RT Water Cooled

No commercial attachment other than use: We have successfully used keyboard Carriage to ship bikes as far as Nevada from VT. Not the cheapest, but they have very nice custom made dollies with fully padded tiedowns made exclusively for shipping bikes.

If it was an RS, would be happy to ride it there.
Could have it there in about 40 hours. _________________ John & Cathy

We've used 1 800 HAUL BIKES twice (once buying and once selling) with good results _________________ Mike Currin

I had a buyer use Forward Air once.
I had to take it to their place and secure it in the container and then the buyer had to go to their destination and take it out. But I kind of liked that because I KNEW the bike was properly secured in their container and that nobody but me and the buyer ever touched the bike. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
