Well, I did some "horsetrading" and sent my garage sale R1200CL down the road and ended up with a K1100 RS to keep my old '76 R75/6 company. I'm getting to like BMW's, and am getting particularly fond of the "new" K bike, a '95 with almost 60K miles. Looks good, runs good, and so far only a new tire required. Found this site recently, and got on today. Looking forward to learning a lot more about this bike. ( one of my 80 year old biker friends and his wife have told me I'll love the bike. They had a couple of R bikes and K bikes over the years.)
Any of you in the NW Indiana area ?
